Guided Tour of Ascoli Piceno

As part of the Giornate dell’Elettrochimica Italiana 2025 (San Benedetto del Tronto, 15–19 September 2025), participants are invited to join a cultural excursion to the historic city of Ascoli Piceno, renowned for its artistic, architectural, and historical treasures.

The tour will depart from Hotel Calabresi at 16:00 by two reserved buses, arriving in Ascoli Piceno around 16:45. Upon arrival, participants will enjoy a two-hour guided walking tour led by professional guides (including one English-speaking guide for international attendees). The itinerary will include the city’s most iconic landmarks:

• Piazza Arringo and the Cathedral of Sant’Emidio, home to the celebrated polyptych by Carlo Crivelli
  
  

• The Baptistery
  
  

• The stunning Piazza del Popolo and the historic Caffè Meletti
  
  

• Via del Trivio and the Ventidio Basso Theatre
  
  

The visit will conclude at the Cloister of San Francesco, where guests will enjoy a convivial aperitif featuring local culinary specialties paired with wines from the region.

The group will return to San Benedetto del Tronto around 21:00.
